All modafinil dosing regimens were well tolerated. In patients who experience excessive sleepiness in the late afternoon/evening, despite satisfactory treatment earlier in the day, a split dose of modafinil may promote wakefulness throughout the waking day,” researchers wrote.
The effects of splitting or not spitting the 200 mg dose could be different for different users, of course, as there are many different reasons for people to use this smart drug. Hence, Modafinil dosage should always depend on your ability to tolerate it, your individual condition and in general your situation and reasons to take it.

I once went to an academic conference where everybody at my table had tried modafinil. When they described its effects, they were all over the place: One said that they became more social, one felt sharper, and one felt much more anxious”.
Sandberg was among several academics surveyed in 2008 by Nature, the international science journal, who admitted to using cognition-enhancing drugs for non-medical reasons.
